The Under-Age Drinking Education Program is a course appropriate for those who have been ordered by the judicial system to attend an alcohol rehabilitation and/or education course. It is our philosophy that education is a key component to successfully minimizing the occurrence of under-age drinking in our community. The Under-Age Drinking Education Program is a two session course directed specifically towards the teen population. Because teens are influential and subject to peer pressure, we have created our curriculum around the needs of our clientele. Not only does this program include information about alcohol and its effects on the body and mind, but it also includes lessons on how to change behaviors and attitudes towards alcohol. Our classes are taught by professional certified teachers who have Masters’ degrees in Education and experience in dealing with adolescents. Our teaching strategies incorporate many different teaching techniques beyond simply lecturing, which will reach the various learning styles and attitudes. It is our hope that with your cooperation we may better establish awareness and depress adolescents from engaging in dangerous under-age drinking scenarios.
